Matthew Wood - Hypnotherapist
Before I trained to become a therapist I served in the Royal Navy working as a Mine Clearance Diver. I have worked in a number of highly challenging environments and have met many wonderful people from very diverse backgrounds. During my time in the forces I had seen and experienced many of the ups and downs that life can throw at us, and it was from this that I developed a passion for helping the people around me deal with these issues and get through some testing times.
I decided that my future lay in working with other people to help them to achieve their goals. I started a new chapter in my life beginning my education at university and I subsequently qualified as a therapist working in clinical hypnotherapy. My previous work has given me a unique and full life experience, which has allowed me to gain a strong understanding of many of the issues that we may experience and the drive to keep meeting new people and help them to achieve their goals.
As a therapist I have the privilege of being able to follow my passion in working with others to improve their lives and develop the tools to move independently towards a healthier and happier life.
